"Be Kind. Don't Judge. Don't Take more than you need"
Fifteen Minutes That Matter
A Path to Kindness
How do I begin say all that I have to share with every single person who lives on this big rock? Yes, these words apply to every single person on this planet. There is a part of me that screams I don’t want to be the one to do this. Then I think, if I don’t do it, who will. I’ve been through so much getting to where I am now. I am not speaking from a place of theory. I am not who I am because of my past. I am who I am in spite of my past. The past that tried to define me also became the essential proving ground for the knowledge I now share. None of this comes from ego. This is knowledge and wisdom I’ve earned, learned, and held closely through many years of difficult trials and experiences over what felt like many lifetimes.
There are no hocus pocus, voodoo, or complicated aspects to living here and being human. Most importantly, life on this planet is not a one and done. It takes many lifetimes to grow up. In the grand scheme of eternity, our life here is only fifteen minutes of the lifetime that we will live, learn and love.
There is no God, by any name, in any language, from any religion who is going to hand over any form of paradise to most of the people on this planet. Why should hate, racism, greed and a complete absence of compassion be given a new place to live?
The entire epitome of life is to learn to “Be Kind. Don’t Judge. Don’t take more than you need.” By doing this, we are able to learn to understand the things we cannot see right away. We have to go within and follow our own intuition and soul feelings. There is a deep knowing within everyone that helps lead us perfectly through life. These feelings are not there to tell us what to do. They are there to help us decide what we want, and the very best way to reach that goal.
Every religion on Earth has been developed, imagined, written and rewritten by mankind. Plain and simple. Religion has turned living here on Earth into a complicated, confusing, controlled and far too often, very hateful way of life. This is not the way it was or is meant to be. Sadly, religion has caused more damage to humanity than any event since the beginning of time. Most of the books that are used to “guide” others are filled with the pride, ego and the personalities of so many of those who have written the words that confuse, make unrelenting demands and contain so many inconsistencies to what we all see and feel in real life.
Unconditional love does not, cannot, and never has lived in the same “house” with fear, torment, and/or control of every aspect of life.
Our purpose here is to learn one simple concept, kindness in all things. We have to learn to care about one another. We are given chance after chance to understand and learn this. We are given lifetime after lifetime to learn this. There is no higher power who does anything to punish people here on Earth. Hurricanes are not sent to punish those who live on the coast. Diseases are not sent to punish people for the life they chose to live. Natural disasters happen to help us realize what is really important. Yes, we can enjoy material things. Where we go wrong is when material things begin to mean more to us than people do.
It is said to not judge unless you have walked in my shoes. For most people, you need to or will have to live life as they did to be able to truly understand their path. If you decide to judge or criticize another person, look carefully at their shoes, for you may wear them one day. “Judge not lest you be judged by the same manner”. Yes, there are small bits and pieces of our true-life reason in religion. However, it has been diluted, omitted and or very misunderstood since the beginning of time. So many people on this planet have been lost, misled, and unable to find the light. They are blinded by the words of others, told not to trust their own feelings or intuition. So many have not been able to or allowed to find the light within. That light can guide and lead everyone to the life we want and are born hoping for, free of threats, hate and all that man made religion dreams up. We were meant to have anything and be anything we can ever imagine or wish for. The one and only requirement for us is to be kind in all ways and to help others walk a path that we may never understand.
Each and every single person on this planet are loved beyond measure. There is no 'one' chosen race or religion. We are all loved unconditionally. This applies to all people with any skin color, nationality, culture, or language spoken. From the very beginning we were all made to be different. When mankind tried to build the Tower of Babel, a higher power stepped in and created different languages. Our many languages and cultures were not divisions, but gifts that challenged us to practice universal kindness. In order to return to our own individual version of the Garden of Eden, we have to learn to be kind, to not judge, and to not take more than we need. We have to find this from within and not because someone told us that is how it has to be. Each and everyone of us are born with this kindness and love. It is up to all of us to help this be the normal, not the exception. Time is of no concern on the other side of that very thin veil that separates us from all that is.
Those who are unwilling to do what is right may have to return to the worse part of what they leave behind. Everyone will, at some point, feel all of the hurt and pain they cause others. Most have heard the phrase, "My life flashed before my eyes." At some point, we see, feel and consider all of our actions from a place of pure love. We are not expected to be perfect, we are expected to be kind. We cannot be saved by others. We have to save ourselves from others. We have to do the work in whatever way needed to allow us to understand and become what we have always been meant to be. Humanity can't continue on the same path they are on. In the end, you will completely destroy one another. There will be no paradise waiting. Once this world as we know it is destroyed, I believe humanity will have to start all over again. Death is not an ending; it is a new beginning. Where our new path begins and travels is completely up to us as individuals who are connected through love and kindness.
These words are not my whole story. This is just a beginning. I have situations and experiences to help others understand how I arrived at this time in my life with the wisdom and knowledge I have earned, and know I have to share. For as long as I can remember, I’ve always said I am a nonconformist, but I’m not a rebel. The meaning of those words are an example of something I didn’t really understand until years later. Even without understanding, those words helped a quiet part of myself remember why I was here and what I would need to do in my future.
I do not understand what this world has turned into with all of the hate. I do not understand why people are so afraid to believe in themselves and those who so blindly follow the words of others who spread so much hate. All I ask of anyone, think about what I share. Ask your own heart and soul if it brings even a tiny bit of light into the depths of your soul. Nothing weird, nothing creepy, just a bit of light shining on your own knowing within.

A Note from Anita:
This space is a labor of love and a work in progress. I am not a professional web builder or writer; I am simply someone showing up each day, learning how to trust my own voice and the education life has afforded me.
As I refine these thoughts into a future book, you may see sections shift or ideas evolve. This is a living project, and I appreciate your patience as I work to present this journey with the care and honesty it deserves. Thank you for being part of the process.
